Never do it. Even with girls I know here locally. Once they have the money, they can easily get distracted or flake out.

This was a weird one...and a first.

Went into Golden Nugget on Fremont, which has a decent amount of hookers at the bar. Not the best ones, but they are there and ready to go.

Struck up a conversation with one girl even though I wasn't really looking for anything. She was cute and fun, so I bought her a drink. Anyway, we decided to walk outside and she mentioned we should have some fun. I told her I didn't have a room on Fremont, and she replied we could go behind the "Slotzilla" which I guess is the ride that goes above Fremont street.

I said that sounds too crazy, so we parted ways with no hard feelings. I walked back past where she said and it looks totally out in the open.

Did she mean something different? Is that a real thing or was she just some crazy hooker.

For some reason, it got me curious if she was just crazy or had some guy waiting in an alley somewhere to rob me. I didn't really get that vibe from her so I'm not sure.

I almost wish I went through it just to find out what she meant.

Definitely starting to look dated inside. The lighting is weird too. It's too bright in some areas, at least last time I was there.

We have areas like that here in California, and prices can vary a lot.

The girls try to get around $300 from everybody that pulls up, but everyone knows they deal and will take less.

You can sometimes get a HJ or covered BJ for as little as $100. Just don't expect anything great.

The nicer your car, they more they try to charge. Not sure about the Vegas street hookers, but I would think it's similar.

Like you said, it's mostly street hookers. The girls that walk the track there aren't really "vegas escorts" like most people would imagine.

They do go in and out of the Orleans there, so you can sometimes meet them at the bar or around the inside of the casino.

If you want that sort of experience, I guess you can test it out. I would say if you're not experienced with street hookers, you should probably stay away.

Picking up street hookers in a city you're comfortable with is risky enough. Doing it on vacation or when traveling just has too many ways to go wrong. If you pick one up inside the casino and go to your room, it may be less risky.

One escort I spoke with said a lot of those girls by the Orleans are actually from out of town. Seems weird, but lots of California and Arizona girls go there to work. No sure how true that is, but that's what she told me and she was pretty experienced on the scene.

It's one of those hit or miss clubs. If you catch it at the right time, it can be cool.

The inside is becoming kind of dated looking, especially with some of the newer clubs in town.

If they did a remodel and refresh, it could be cool. But their prices are too high for what you get IMHO.
