Las Vegas is known for mega-casinos and larger-than-life resorts. It’s also known for its huge strip clubs.
But what if you’re looking for that local flavor, like your neighborhood strip club?
Well, to be perfectly honest, there isn’t too much of that in Vegas, at least not when it comes to strip clubs.
But there are a few local spots to check out. Just be aware, that your mileage may vary with these places so have the plan to leave if it’s not what you’re looking for.
Minks
Minks is located in Henderson, which is a suburb right next to Las Vegas. It’s about a 15-25 minute ride from the strip depending on the traffic.
Minks is about the closest you’ll find to a local strip club around town. It’s still pretty large and they have two sections inside.
One is the main stage with seating around it. The second area is a hooka lounge with hooka service and seating. You can still see the stage from the hooka area and depending on the number of girls, they occasionally dance in the hooka area.
The private dance area isn’t that private at all. It’s towards the back and completely open for all to see. So don’t expect any extra action.
Overall, it’s not bad for a locals place. The only downside is the number of girls dancing can get really low depending on when you visit.
Also, being a locals spot, sometimes the few girls inside are already paired up with their main customers, leaving everyone else with nothing to do.
Try to avoid the off times and you’re usually alright. Prices are decent as well both for drinks and dances. There’s also usually plenty of drink specials.
Play it Again Sam’s
Play it Again Sam’s is a bit strange for a Vegas club, but it’s definitely a locals place. Sometimes it feels more like a video poker lounge that just happens to have a few naked girls walking around.
It is very laid back and plenty of guys just go and sit at the bar and play video poker.
Behind the bar is a seating area with a few stage-like areas, but there’s really no real main stage with dancing. I’ve never seen girls rotate through the stages like at a typical club.
You can get a dance right there in the seating area or go for a private dance in the back rooms.
The backroom is private, but they have cameras and there’s a pretty strict no-touching rule. As with most strip clubs, your mileage may vary, but they’re pretty strict.
I would say you’re better off just testing the waters with floor dances before spending on the back room private dances. The back room dances aren’t really worth it unless you already know the girl and know what to expect.
This place isn’t the best, but you can occasionally find a friendly girl, and the drink prices are about the cheapest of any strip club in town.
This isn’t the place if you’re looking for a wild time, but if you need a place to chill, it might fit the bill.
Chica Bonitas

Chica Bonitas is a locals place, but plenty of out-of-towners stop in as well.
It’s sort of famous in town and that’s due to its small size, all-Hispanic lineup of girls, and a sketchy location.
However, Chica Bonitas is definitely the best of the locals clubs if you can get past the shortcomings. It’s not fully nude, but only one club in Vegas is fully nude and serves booze.
Chica Bonitas is far from a fancy club, and some parts are definitely run down. But the girls can be wild and with the relatively low private dance prices you get your money’s worth almost every time.
Inside there are two stages and the girls rotate between stages during the peak hours. There are usually plenty of girls and they are almost all friendly.
Most don’t speak English or just speak limited English but don’t worry about that. They don’t mind if you don’t mind and it’s pretty easy to negotiate a private dance session.
Overall, this is the best locals place in town. It’s a bit sketchy but you can have a better time here than most other local spots if you can get past the shortcomings.
If nothing else, it’s worthwhile just to visit once to see why Chicas Bonitas is meme-worthy for all the locals.
