When most people think of Vegas strip clubs, they think of a scene from a rap video. The music plays in the background as slow-motion dollar bills fall from the sky.
While that’s definitely a part of Vegas nightlife, it’s not always the reality. Sometimes you lost money at the poker tables or maybe you just spent $18 on a Big Mac and now you’re low on cash.
Whatever the reason, sometimes you want to have some cheap fun with the few bucks you have left in your pocket.
Believe it or not, you can still have some fun at a strip club on a budget if you follow a few of my tips below. I’m not saying these are for everybody, but they can make your money go a lot further and you may just end up having a blast.
Tip #1: Pick The Right Strip Club
This is where most people make the biggest mistake. If you’re low on funds, you don’t hit up the fanciest strip club in Vegas. You need to start with a cheap strip club.
You’re on a budget so you might as well face it. Picking a cheap strip club will set you up to make your money go the furthest. But don’t worry, cheap strip clubs in Vegas can still have hot girls. It’s just that the decor and atmosphere can be a little dirty.
If you can get past that, you’re gold.

Tip #2: Drink Before You Go
This is an old clubbing trick and it applies to strip clubs on a budget. Drink before you go. Specifically, get drunk at a casino where you can get free drinks so you can save even more money for the strip club.
If you don’t already know, you can sit at a casino bar and play the bar-top video poker machines and get free drinks. Drop a $20 bill in the machine and order a drink. Then just slow-play the machine and make sure to tip the bartender at least $5.
He’ll keep bringing you and your friends free drinks and you can get a nice buzz going for around $10 total if you play it right.
It’s best to do this somewhere close to the strip club you’re going to. That way it’s only a few minutes away and you don’t lose your buzz on the way to the club. Once at the strip club, you can nurse a beer and you’re good to go.
Tip #3: Take Your Time
Don’t get roped in by the first girl who comes up to you and asks for a private dance. Her dance will probably suck and you’ll blow your cash too soon. Instead, chill and look around. See what girls are there and maybe take a seat at the stage.
You should tip at the stage, but if you’re truly on a budget you can tip pretty sparingly. Just try to get up now and then in case, a real tipper wants to sit down.
Tip #4: Sit By The People Who Are Tipping Big
There’s usually one guy at a strip club or maybe a group of guys who are having a blast and blowing way more money than they should. Don’t be afraid to sit next to these guys and let the good energy flow onto your group.
This is a delicate balance and it doesn’t always work, but it can work if you can match their energy.
This tip is a little shady, so it may not be the best for everybody, but I’ve seen plenty of guys and even couples do this and they end up being a part of the big spender’s party for almost the whole night. You can even get free drinks like this.
Tip #5: Don’t Get More Than One Private Dance
If you’re at a cheap club, a private dance is probably around $20 to $25. Only agree to one dance at first in case the girl is a total dud in the VIP. If she’s hot and gives a great dance, you can always extend it once you’re in the VIP.
If you agree to a bunch of dances at first, you’re stuck if the girl is boring and you just wasted all that money on a girl that gives terrible dances.
Tip #6: Try To Have As Much Fun On The Main Floor As Possible
With strip clubs, most of the fun is in the VIP. But if you’re good at this tip, you can get strippers to hang all over you on the main floor for a while before you go back into the VIP area. If the club has loose rules, this means you can also grab some ass for free while enjoying your drink.
Don’t be afraid to have some girls sit with you or your group and chat them up. Just be really fun and outgoing and they’ll hang around and sit on your lap. It gives you a chance to feel them out (literally) and not blow through your cash so fast.
Just don’t string the girls along. If you don’t have enough left for a private dance, you shouldn’t use this tip as it’s a bit dishonest. But it’s your call.
Final Tips For Vegas On A Budget
Overall, you can still visit a Vegas strip club on a budget. You have to show a little restraint but I’ve had a blast at clubs for less than $200 total and I made that amount last for several hours. I’ve also had nights where I spent well over $1K, and sometimes that doesn’t make the night any more fun.
