If you’re coming to Vegas and want to check out a strip club while in town, you may have some questions.
Vegas strip clubs are a little different than your local strip club, especially if you’re coming from a smaller town or city. But in some ways, a strip club is a strip club no matter where it’s located and many of the same rules apply.
One question we get a lot at True Vegas Life is whether strip clubs will really pick up guests for free. Either with a limo or luxury SUV and bring them to a strip club.
This sounds like a great deal, but people get nervous and wonder if there’s some sort of catch involved.
Below, we’ll explain exactly how the free limo or car service works when it comes to Las Vegas Strip Clubs.
The Club’s Limo Service
Many of the large strip clubs in town do have their own vehicles and drivers. These cars and drivers are on call just about 24/7 and if you call the club, they will come pick you up.
However, these are mostly for parties and if you’re just a single person, you may not get a ride or at least won’t get priority.
If you’re a group of guys on vacation or a business trip, you can usually get picked up in about 20 minutes after you call the club.
Most clubs will post the phone number to call and reserve a car. The earlier in the night you call, the better chance you have of securing the ride when you want it.
One benefit of using the club’s car service is that you will sometimes avoid any cover charge. This depends on the club so check the website or ask when you call.
Strip club cover charges can range anywhere from $40 or $70 during peak times. So if you have a group of 10 guys, you can save a lot of money if they waive the cover charges.
Just make sure to ask in advance and get a 100% straight answer that there will be no cover charge.
Downsides Of Using A Strip Club Pick-Up Service
If you can avoid the cover charge, using the club’s pick-up service can be a great deal. You save yourself the Uber fare and the cover charge. Plus, the car to the club uses is usually pretty nice.
Most often it’s a luxury full-size SUV, so it’s a great way to get around town and show up to the club.
However, there are some downsides to using the car service.
The first issue is possible hidden fees if you’re not careful. Make sure when you book the ride that there are no fees or costs involved. Clubs will often try to get you to spring for extras like table reservations or bottle service.
If you want those, that’s fine. Just don’t let them charge you for those if you don’t want it or didn’t expect it.
Next up, even if you avoid any upselling when booking the car, they may try to really hard-sell you once you arrive. This means when they drop you off, a staff member is waiting to sell you a table or some sort of package.
Once again, if you want that sort of experience, go ahead and do it. Just remember that they try to use the fancy car ride to get you to feel guilty and buy the package.
If you don’t want it, stand your ground and say no. They can’t force you and none of the girls inside will know.
Overall, just be very careful of any upselling of packages or table service when booking a ride or arriving at the club. Never get pressured into spending any money you don’t want to.
Free Strip Club Rides Offered Around Town
This is where things can get sketchy in Vegas. Around the strip, guys are hanging out in front of luxury SUVs and offering free rides to a strip club.
These guys are usually not directly hired by the strip club. Instead, they work on kickbacks. This means they’ll say and do anything to get you dropped off at the club.
So they may promise free entry, but when they drop you off, it’s a different story.
The same goes for guys passing out cards with special phone numbers to get you into a strip club for free.
We’re not saying all these guys are scams, but you’re taking a gamble when you work with these guys.
If you decide to work with these guys, take the same advice we gave before. Stand your ground and never get forced into spending money you don’t want to.
A few of these guys may have special relationships with clubs and if they drop off a large group, they may be able to get the cover charge waived.
As with everything in Vegas, just use your judgment and don’t get suckered into something that seems too good to be true.
